Women empowering each other is a beautiful thing, and I’m grateful for the connections we build along the way. I met Jennifer Mercado 4 years ago at the Mind Magic event in Palm Beach, FL, and I have watched her flourish ever since. I am so proud of her and all she has accomplished. Jennifer has not only found herself, but she has also discovered her true passions and built a company that reflects what she loves. She’s finally in her happy place, thriving and doing what lights her up.

Every so often, there comes a clown that sparks a movement. For Jenn, there have been 2, then a few more!
When Jenn was a young girl, there was La Pinky, a popular child entertainment hailing from the Dominican Republic, where Jenn's family is from.
She remembers going to El Teatro Nacional to see her idol in person. After that, it was Xuxa, who wasn't really a traditional clown, but the Queen of Children from Brazil.
Jenn never realized until now how much of an impact these ladies had on her and her fulfilling her purpose in life.
She's always admired women in the FULLEST self expression, whether as entertainers, or talented artists in their own right, much like Gloria Trevi, Selena and Madonna.
It wasn't until Jenn left the corporate world this year, that she realized she was
trying to fulfill other people's version of success in her life, and in that departure she decided to own her true love of performing. Thus Your Happy Place Events was (re) born. Prior to this version of party entertainment, Jenn had worked as a clown since 2009, owned her own company in 2014, then took a brief hiatus to start her family in 2017. Clowning never left her, but she struggled to make that version of herself make sense amid the professional jobs she's held in between. This year was the push, and she has decided to embrace her inner lily padder, embrace the career changes, and embrace her identity of Modern Day Carny. She's a one woman circus, and is not embarrassed to take her clowning seriously!
