For most of my life, I believed there was a right way to live.
Work hard.
Be responsible.
Don't make waves.
Take care of everyone else.
Stay loyal.
Do what you're supposed to do.
So I did.
And while those values served me in many ways, I eventually realized something I never expected..
Following all the rules doesn't guarantee the life you imagined.
Sometimes the very beliefs we've been carrying since childhood quietly shape our choices without us ever questioning whether they still fit who we are.
That realization changed the way I see my own life.
It made me wonder...
How many of the stories we believe about ourselves were never really ours to begin with?
How many expectations have we been trying to live up to simply because someone else handed them to us?
