GEN X Tee — "Independent Since, Be Home By Dark" Vintage Gen X Shirt
Independent Since, Be Home By Dark.
A soft, lived-in tee that wears like a memory. This lightweight jersey shirt reads with bold, slightly weathered lettering declaring “GEN X — Independent Since / Be Home By Dark,” a wry nod to an era that values self-reliance, deadpan humor, and small comforts. The crew neck and retail fit keep the silhouette clean and easy to layer under jackets or over long sleeves. It drapes casually for everyday errands, backyard hangs, or low-key meetups where a quiet wink to shared cultural memories lands louder than any slogan. The breathable Airlume combed cotton feels cool on long walks or while chasing weekend projects, and the tear-away label keeps necklines irritation-free. Subtle construction details — side seams, ribbed collar, and shoulder tape — keep the shape true wash after wash, so the shirt ages into a reliable favorite. REACH-certified and produced with ethical manufacturing practices, this tee suits someone who cares about comfort, craft, and a little ironic pride in where they come from.
